This unsual item features a rattan spiral which supports 6 cut bamboo chimes with decorative stripes.  The spring action introduces additional movement and therefore more sound.

The windcatcher is a vertical section of bamboo, the striker a wooden disk which generates the soft, muted tones typical of bamboo.

All threaded on black rot-proof nylon twine with a small metal hook at the top.
