Concerto chimes do not have any wooden components - the top is steel, the 5 chimes and the wind catcher are of aluminium which have a UV-resistant powder-coating to give a rose gold finish which has a little bit of sparkle when the light catches it. The striker is of a black polymer which produces soft tones upon contact with the chimes.
The cord from which each tubes hangs is attached to a device seated
within each tube rather than passing through a pair of holes drilled
into the tube walls: this construction allows the metal to resonate for longer. It is
also aesthetically pleasing.
The wind catcher is circular, curved to catch the breeze.
The chime has a robust, black 'S' hook for ease of hanging.
Packed in an attractive presentation box.
