Each chime features a hand-painted flower of a different colour. Some are highlighted with yellow spots.
The 6 cut bamboo chimes are different lengths and also different diameters, which produce a variety of tones when the bevelled wooden striker knocks against the tubes.
The chimes are fixed to a polished section of coconut with rot-proof black nylon line with a small metal hook at the top for hanging. The wind catcher is a vertical slice of bamboo.
