While all Windsinger chimes are lower registers, the Athena chimes
have the highest tone of the Windsinger series. The look is boldly
elegant and the sound is beautiful.
The 6 aluminium chimes with a silk black finish are thick-walled and are suspended
by attaching the cord to a small metal rod set within the tube. This
promotes longer lasting resonance than traditionally strung chimes where
the cord is passed through holes in the side of the tube.
The matt black striker is of a special, high density material; the
wind catcher is a lightly textured aluminium blade with a slight,
vertical centre fold.
All strung on heavyweight black nylon line, this item is completely weatherproof and carries a one year guarantee.
