Concerto chimes do not have any wooden components - the top and the
wind catcher are of steel with a black powder-coating; the striker is
of a black polymer which produces soft tones upon contact with the 5
aluminium chimes, which have a satin bronze finish with a slightly
textured surface.
The wind catcher is circular, curved to catch the breeze.
The cord from which each tubes hangs is attached to a device seated
within each tube rather than passing through a pair of holes drilled
into the tube walls: this construction allows the metal to resonate for longer. It is also aesthetically pleasing.
The chime has a robust black 'S' hook, also finished in black, for ease of hanging.
Packed in an attractive presentation box.
