Payments and Security

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay by credit or debit card using Mastercard, Visa, Visa Debit (previously known as Visa Delta) and Visa Electron cards.

There are no additional charges for different card types.

If you have a Paypal account you can also make payments via instant bank transfer from a registered bank account.

If you are a company making a bulk order and wish to be sent an invoice for a payment to be made by BACS, wire transfer or cheque, please contact us on 01344 773096 or via the contact form.

Do I have to register my details or open an account to place an order?

No, you do not need to register with us to make a purchase.

Online payments are taken through Opayo - previously known as SagePay - or Paypal, but you can use either payment gateway without opening an account.

If you are already registered with Paypal then you can pay using your existing account.

How can I be certain my payment details are safe?

Opayo (formerly SagePay)

Opayo is the new name for Sage Pay.  The name change is because Sagepay was recently acquired by Elavon – a big name in payments and a subsidiary of U.S. Bank.

We confess that we haven't yet updated the branding at our checkout because Opayo has yet to become a familiar name with online shoppers.

However, you can still shop with confidence despite the name change:   every transaction is encrypted to the highest global standards.  Opayo's secure systems are scanned and audited regularly by one of the world’s leading Qualified Security Assessors (QSA) so that you can be confident about using them to make a secure payment online.

We do not ever see your card details; they are not processed or stored on our website.

 PayPal

Paypal handle billions of pounds worth of transactions internationally every year and are at the forefront of security and fraud prevention measures. Your card details are only ever handled by Paypal and are never seen or stored by us.

How does the payment process work?

We will ask for an online payment to be made at the time you place your order. You may choose either  SagePay or the Paypal payment gateway to make your payment and to enter your address and card details to complete your purchase.

All of your card details are securely handled by whichever gateway you have chosen. Your payment is forwarded to our bank account and your delivery address and order details are passed onto us. We will not pass on your contact information to any third parties. 

If for any reason we need to make a refund,  the money will be being transfered straight back onto your payment card.
