Each of the 6 cut bamboo chimes is neatly bound with cotton thread in soothing blues and greens reminiscent of tropical seas.
The
striker is a flat wooden disk with bevelled edges, the wind catcher is a
vertical section of bamboo. All threaded on rot-proof, black nylon
twine with a hook at the top.
This is a new addition to our
collection, so it remains to be seen how long the coloured twine will
endure. However, it is probable that it will fade over time if exposed
to sunlight for prolonged periods.
