A circular top made of pinewood, stained black, supports a spiral of seven brass plated steel bells, each with a pair of coloured stone accents which represent the seven Chakra.
Chakra are believed to be energy centers within the human body that help to regulate all its processes, from organ function to to the immune system and emotions. They are located between the base of the spine to the crown of the head and are associated with the seven main nerve ganglia emanating from the spinal column.
Each of the seven Chakra has a corresponding colour represented as follows:
Pink quartz - Crown chakra
Lapis - Brow chakra
Turquoise - Throat chakra
Aventurine - Heart chakra
Citrine - Solar Plexus chakra
Carnelian - Sacral chakra
Red Coral - Base chakra
